The binder is to keep loose-leaf paper, practice tests, and handouts.
Any graphing calculator will work. However, I strongly suggest a TI-83 or TI-84. A graphing calculator will work for all math classes through high school and into college. It is a worthwhile investment. Standardized tests are designed to be taken with graphing calculators. In class, students will see a TI-84 regularly taught.

Loose leaf is best for neatness and flexibility. However, spiral notebooks can be used and placed inside the organizer.

Can be used in lieu of notebook paper for work. Again, loose leaf is best. Graph paper is needed to draw accurate graphs as part of assignments.

May be used to highlight diagrams to make them more easily understood. Color coding notes can also be helpful.
