Personal ART supplies that will travel to school for class and home with them. These items can be in conjunction with their core class supplies!

"Gaston County students are not required to bring any supplies with them to school in order to access our educational programs. If you would like to purchase personal supplies for your child, this list may act as an optional guide. While the following items are not requirements, donations by parents, businesses, civic organizations or faith-based organizations are always greatly appreciated."


Students are recommended to have a Chromebook bag or tote bag for transporting their Chromebooks to and from school and to and from core plus classes. This can be their bookbag with an appropriate technology pouch. 

Students will be accessing much of their work on Chromebooks but may want to have the following for each of their classes.

(Middle School one-semester exploratory Spanish does not need any special supplies)


Students will be assigned a Chromebook that will be carried from class to class. Please consider this as you choose a bag for the school year.
